About Pastor Mueller

Pastor's Message

The early Christians began to worship on Sunday because it is “the Lord’s day,” the day Jesus rose from the grave on Easter.  And why not choose this day?  Without the resurrection, our faith is nothing.

“For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.” — 1 Corinthians 15:16-19

Every Sunday of the year is a celebration of the Easter event.  We live our Christian lives every day, but we set aside one day a week, as God tells us to do, to meet together as his children, give thanks for the death and resurrection of Jesus, and allow God to give us his grace.  Don’t think of Easter as a “once a year” holiday.  “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!”  Psalm 118:24
